NEM TALÁLTÁL ELŐADÁST MA ESTÉRE?

Following on from their highly successful performance of Sophocles’ tragedy ‘Antigone’ in February Richard Challoner Theatre Company return to the IBS theatre in February 2017, with Arthur Miller’s modern American tragedy ‘A View From the Bridge.’

‘A View from the Bridge’ tells the story of the Carbone family - Eddie, his wife Beatrice and her orphaned niece Catherine. They are poor but content, living in Red Hook, Brooklyn, where Eddie works at the shipyards along with many other New Yorkers struggling to make a living. When Beatrice's Italian cousins Marco and Rodolfo (who are both illegal immigrants) arrive from Sicily to stay,  the Carbone family's life changes forever. Their seemingly unshakeable love and loyalties are tested, leading Eddie to commit an unforgivable crime against both his family and the Sicilian-American community.

RICHARD CHALLONER THEATRE COMPANY are annual visitors to the IBS. They are based at Richard Challoner High School in West London and have previously presented ‘Hamlet, ‘Macbeth’ and ‘Romeo and Juliet’ at the IBS as well as ‘The Government Inspector’ in 2015.
